Nei mesi di Gennaio e Febbraio 1969 Elvis Presley si è recato agli American Sound Studios di Memphis e ha dato vita ad alcune tra le sue canzoni più belle e più famose.
E' stato proprio in quelle sessions di registrazione che ha dato vita a capolavori come "Suspicious Minds", "In The Ghetto" e altri che ben conosciamo.
Per commemorare il 40° Anniversario di questo evento, Sony Music - in accordo con la Elvis Presley Enterprises - distribuirà una versione deluxe dell'album "From Elvis In Memphis".
La release comprenderà 32 tracce, raccolte in un box, accompagnato da un libretto e, forse, anche di un dvd!
Il suono è stato rimasterizzato per ottenere il massimo della qualità audio.

Sono curioso per quanto riguarda il contenuto dell'eventuale dvd...:-3
E' giunta notizia secondo cui la versione deluxe dell'album "From Elvis In Memphis", che doveva contenere 32 tracce su 2 cd, si sia ridotta ad un cd singolo, il cui titolo sarà "In The Ghetto", e conterrà solamente 18 canzoni!
La notizia deve ancora avere conferma ufficiale, visto che la Elvis Presley Enterprises, sul sito www.elvis.com (http://www.elvis.com) , non ha modificato il precedente annuncio riguardante la versione deluxe.
Vi daremo conferme e/o smentite non appena ci arriveranno...

Sarà un doppio cd, come detto inizialmente, e il titolo sarà "From Elvis In Memphis". Conterrà le 32 canzoni, come annunciato! :-9x

ricordo che in questa emissione si parlava anche di un dvd sarebbe fantastico vedere qualcosa di elvis nel 69

in quale museo hurt questo è uno dei migliori album di Elvis
concordo con voi -from elvis in memphis- è sicuramente uno degli album più belli che ha fatto elvis,canzoni come in the ghetto,don't cry daddy,suspicious minds.kentucky rain,any day now,power of my love,true love travels on a gravel road,ecc. scusate se mi sono dilungato un po,ma come si fa a dimenticare queste favolose canzoni:-9x
