Le rose sono rosse, amore mio.
Tanto, tanto tempo fa nel giorno del conseguimento del diploma.
Tu mi desti il tuo libro… firmai così:

Le viole sono blu.
Lo zucchero è dolce,
ma non come te”.

Uscimmo insieme durante le superiori;
e quando venne il grande giorno,
scrissi nel tuo libro, accanto al mio nome:

Dopo io andai via, lontano e tu trovasti un nuovo amore.
Lessi la tua lettera e ti risposi:

Le viole sono blu.

La fortuna può far si che Dio ti renda felice”.

E’ quella la tua piccola ragazzina?
Ti assomiglia molto.
Un giorno, qualche ragazzo, scriverà sul libro di lei:
