Una nuova compilation dal titolo "The Essential Elvis Presley" verrà distribuita dalla BMG USA nel mese di Gennaio 2007, in concomitanza con il compleanno di Elvis. (08 Gennaio).

Per ora non abbiamo altre informazioni a riguardo.

L'ennesima raccolta che esce ai soliti anniversari o compleanni.
Ma a chi pensano quando decidono di pubblicare il materiale? Ai fans no decisamente.
Va bene volerne catturare di nuovi ma cavoli, non pretendano poi delle vendite stratosferiche :-D

Mah, secondo me le canzoni sono più che azzeccate per una compilation che si chiama "The Essential Elvis Presley". Tenete conto che questo non è materiale per i fans, ma per l'acquirente medio... Noi abbiamo a disposizione la FTD!

L'edizione francese del cd "Essential Elvis Presley" ha una tracklist completamente diversa da quella proposta sinora per altre edizioni. E' la stessa tracklist delle edizioni UK e tedesca del cd "The King".

E' stata distribuita in Asia l'edizione XRCD (Extended Resolution Compact Disc) della release "The Essential Elvis Presley".
Questa tipologia di cd offre una qualità audio superiore. Non servono lettori cd particolari per ascoltarla.

Il set da 3 cd "The Essential Elvis Presley 3.0" viene distribuito da Sony in edizione limitata e contiene lo stesso materiale della versione distribuita nel 2007, con l'unica differenza che il materiale è contenuto in 3 cd.

SonyBMG ha reso nota la tracklist del terzo cd del set cd "The Essential Elvis Presley 3.0".
Queste canzoni sono aggiunte a quelle già presenti nella versione da 2 cd.
