Album Moody Blue
 

Sto ascoltando il cd Moody Blue!!
In questa raccolta la voce di Elvis è di una tristezza infinita, soprattutto quanto canta Unchained Melody, Nevee Fall In Love Again, She Thinks I Still Care e altre (non sto ad elencarle tutte), ma soprattutto in Love Coming Down!!!
Ricordo che la prima volta che ho ascoltato questo cd, non l’ho apprezzato molto, ma riascoltandolo oggi, dopo tanto tempo, mi rendo conto che in tutte la canzoni di questo album del 76/77, inconsapevolmente, Elvis manda continui messaggi di sofferenza.

E’ proprio vero che, nel caso di Elvis Presley, non si può, non si deve e non si riesce a scindere l’artista dall’uomo

mi sono infilato nel giradischi promised land ieri,prima per le mani mi era capitato proprio moody blue ke però non ho voluto ascoltare...elvis gli ultimi anni ha cantato solo quello ke + gli si faceva riferimento...la voglia di registrare pareva essergli passata (poi il materiale ke gli passavano era orrendo) e lui fece solo le canzoni ke,lasciando straniti gli altri,vedeva + sue...tutte aveva no in comune lo strazio x un amore finito...

Si effetivamente erano interpretate quasi con sofferenza, come messaggi che lui voleva comunicare. Certo che se chi lo circodava li avesse percepiti quei messaggi......

io,invece,è un cd che da un pò di tempo non riesco proprio ad ascoltare:xmas_icon_frown::xmas_icon_frown: troppo triste,traspare troppa sofferenza,non ce la faccio proprio...

E' quello che faccio anch'io. Io riesco ad ascoltare, in ordine cronologico, fino a Promised Land, poi mi si stringe il cuore e lascio perdere. Gli ultimi tre - quattro anni sono tremendamente tristi e malinconici.

E' vero che è uno di quei cd che stringono cuore e cervello però che voce, che trasporto in questa raccolta !!!

siamo telepatiche Hurt...anch'io ei giorni scorsi stavo ascoltando questo cd...e il fatto è che vado avanti per giorni ad ascoltare sempre lo stesso cd....non so se capita anche a voi....

Cd che stanno nel lettore per giorni??? E' la prassi!!! :):)Ho iniziato in questi giorni con il nuovo FTD "Love Letters from Elvis" e chissà quando uscirà dal lettore.... :-px Poi seguiranno gli altri... :-prr

Tornando all'album MOODY BLUE, la canzone "Bitter They Are, Harder They Fall" non mi fa proprio impazzire.
Mi piace molto di più "Solitaire", "Never Again", "Love Coming Down"...Sì, insomma, tutte le altre... :)

CREDO SIA UNO DEI MIGLIORI ALBUM. ALMENO PER COME LA VEDO IO. ANCHE SE ERA UN PERIODO DIFFICILISSIMO SI SENTE PROPRIO LA SOFFERENZA IN ALCUNE CANZONI (VEDI IT'S EASY FOR YOU). UN Pò COME L'ALBUM "ELVIS TODAY".
PS: ma bitter they are, harder they fall e anche love comin down sono nell'edizione speciale giusto? (quella che unisce l'album moody blue insieme a quello del 1976).

Cavoli France, sono partita per la tangente pure io :? e non ho fatto mente locale che le canzoni "Bitter They Are...." , "Love Coming Down" etc... fanno parte dell'album "From Elvis Presley Blvd Memphis Tennessee", e non dell'album originale "Moody Blue".
Infatti esiste un'edizione in cui sono stati messi insieme i 2 album...e ho preso a riferimento quello...

Ovviamente non a molti piacciono queste canzoni,sono praticamente una richiesta di aiuto da parte di Elvis.
Ovviamente nel suo gruppo nessuno ha capito questa richiesta o meglio non hanno voluto aiutarlo,ormai sono convinto che si fossero tutti stancati di questa vita, (mm) l'unica cosa a cui ambivano tutti era lo stipendio.
