come state? spero bene se mi pemette un giudizio puramente personale riguardo al cofanetto penso che sia un buonissimo lavoro nella scelta delle canzoni (per chi avesse perso il cd the great performnces uscito qualche anno fa potete qui trovare la versione di my happiness prima incisione di elvis presley alla sun record , disco regalato alla mamma per i lsuo compleanno questo nell'edizione dei 4 cd) e da un punto di vista grafico , un libretto fotografico molto accativante. ma ritengo che la scelta discografica sia soprattutto dovuta come sempre a raggiungere un vasto pubblico e non diciamo il fan più accanito. ovvero credo che ogni fan di elvis sia un pò stufo di questi prodotti sempre come ripeto fatit per un vasto pubblico. infatti sarebbe a mio avviso anche giusto publicare discograficamente prodotti ufficiali magari più di nicchia (brani inediti, versione alternativa ripeto che siamo ufficiali quindi reperibili nei normali canali) piuttosto che queste continue raccolte che già sono presenti nelle collezioni dei più accaniti fans. vediamo infatti in commercio show inediti pubblicati dalla follow the dream che non è altro che la rca ma sotto appunto un'altra etichetta ma che si possono acquistare prevalentemente attraverso canali non ufficiali. quindi per concludere ritengo che si dovrebbe pubblicare più materiale inedito del nostro elvis(e vi posso assicurare che c'è ne' ancora molto negli archivi che potrebbe essere edito)piuttosto che le solite raccolte di canzoni che sicuramente sono più pulite a livello di suono ma che non offrono nulla di ciò che è non è già stato pubblicato. a presto franco |

Ciao Franco, forse ho interpretato male il tuo post, ma mi risulta che l'etichetta Follow That Dream sia un'etichetta UFFICIALE, riconosciuta dalla EPE, e i "canali" presso cui si possono trovare questi cd sono solitamente i fans club di Elvis, anch'essi riconosciuti ufficialmente dalla Elvis Presley Enterprises. Quindi non c'è nulla di NON UFFICIALE a mio avviso in tutto questo.
Per quanto riguarda Sony BMG o RCA, penso sia "normale" che, per motivi ovviamente economici, preferiscano avvalersi del grande pubblico: i fans hanno già un "reparto" a loro dedicato = FTD. Quindi, visto che l'etichetta Follow That Dream, come anche da te detto, "è la RCA sotto un'altra etichetta", ne consegue che quest'ultima - in 2 modi diversi - sta fornendo materiale SIA per il grande pubblico SIA per i fans. :-pp LISA |

scusami ma volevo solo dire che forse sono state fraintese le mie parole. ovvero che i cd della ftd non sono di facile reperibiltà nei normali negozi di dischi (o solo raramente) se poi un fan deve ricorre ai fan club ufficiali per acquistarli(e quindi non trovarli in commercio secondo i canoni più semplici ovvero negozi di dischi) questo è un altro discorso. apresto franco |
