Il box sarà in versione più piccola rispetto a quello originale.

Come era già stato annunciato qualche mese fa, il famoso e magnifico box da 5 cd "Walk A Mile In My Shoes" verrà ridistribuito da Sony ad un prezzo nettamente inferiore a quello di vendita negli anni 90.
E' un'occasione imperdibile per chi fino ad ora non avesse avuto la possibilità di acquistare questo box! Un "must-have" per ogni fan di Elvis!
La distribuzione è prevista per Marzo 2011.

Salve Lisa, sono Francy m. So di essere un po' (solo un po'....) anacronistica, ma sono in difficoltà a intervenire nel vostro forum. Avrei un paio di domande da fare. Ho da sempre (ho 35 anni) una passione per i Beatles, ed Elvis mi ha sempre affascinato ma fino ad ora non avevo mai avuto o cercato un'occasione valida per "avvicinarmi" al suo mondo. Mia figlia ed io abbiamo guardato un cartone Disney (Lilo e Stich) dove descrivono Elvis come una brava persona e.... mi sono finalmente decisa a chiedermi chi era... chi é Elvis. Un mio amico ferrato in materia di musica "fifty" mi ha consigliato di leggermi "l'ultimo treno per memphis", e di guardarmi "the early years" il film sulla sua vita e personalmente dico che l'attore è impressionante!!! Ti volevo chiedere, sono due voci fedeli? Secondo la tua conoscenza, possono questi due documenti darmi un' idea corretta dell'uomo e del personaggio di Elvis?? Grazie per l'attenzione, se hai dei consigli su altre fonti da darmi te ne sarei grata!!

che difficoltà hai nell'intervenire nel forum? Posso aiutarti in qualche modo?

Il consiglio del tuo amico mi sembra molto corretto, però ti consiglio di leggere entrambi i volumi della biografia: "L'ultimo treno per Memphis" e "Amore senza freni". Sono venduti in un unico cofanetto che li contiene entrambi. In questo modo avrai la vita di Elvis per intero.
Non ho capito bene se hai già visto il film "The Early Years", ma cmq ti posso anche consigliare i 3 dvd "The Great Performances" - vol. 1-2-3, che sono doppiati e sottotitolati in italiano; oppure "Elvis By The Presleys" (sottotitolato in italiano) per conoscere l'aspetto più personale di Elvis come padre, marito e amico.
Purtroppo nella nostra lingua, il materiale a disposizione è molto limitato a livello di documentari, ma se non hai problemi con l'inglese ti consiglio il film "This Is Elvis": è un doppio dvd e racconta l'intera vita di Elvis.
E' a mio avviso - e non solo - il miglior film sulla sua vita. :-9x
