Nel '54 Sam Philips,di ritorno da un viaggio a Nashville,si porta dietro una canzone da far cantare al suo nuovo "pupillo".Gli piacerebbe vedere come se la cava il ragazzo con quella impegnativa ballata.Quando Elvis riceve la proposta corre subito alla Sun,ma la sua voce e l'esperienza è ancora troppo"acerba"!!Questo provino rimarrà per lui come una macchia da lavare,ma l'impegnativa canzone verrà incisa una quindicina di anni dopo....che rivincita!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mah filippo ti dico che la canzone in sè non mi fa impazzire...troppo smielata.....però torniamo sempre al solito discorso che elvis con la voce che aveva poteva cantare anche daje de tacco daje de punta quanto è bona la sora assunta.....che sarebbe stato un successo comunque!!:-7x:-7x
