Elvis si esibisce all’ Memorial Stadium, Spokane, WA.
Vestito con camicia, pantaloni neri, scarpe nere con lacci fosforescenti e la giaccia dorata, del vestito che gli aveva regalato il Colonnello, Elvis entra nello stadio a bordo di una Cadillac.
Nella seconda parte dello show, che include giocolieri, ballerini di tip tap, acrobati e comici, Elvis esegue 18 canzoni, davanti ad un pubblico di 12.500 persone

Elvis registra la colonna Sonora di It Happened All’ Worlds Fair, alla Radio Recorders, Hollywood. Canzoni: "Take Me To The Fair" "Happy Ending" e "Relax"

Poiché Elvis si è preso il raffreddore, alla MGM c’è molta preoccupazione che le riprese d’inizio del film, vengano rinviate. La session di registrazione della colonna sonora inizia alle 19.00 ma dopo poche ore viene annullata, perchè è evidente che Elvis sta male e ha difficoltà a cantare.
Il Colonnello rinegozia alcuni punti del contratto con la RCA, che, di fatto, è già stato definito lo scorso gennaio.
Nei due punti discussi sono uno in cui, sostanzialmente, si prevede une divisione tra Elvis e Parker al 50-50 e l’altro riguarda 1%, non rimborsabile, di royalties per tutte le vendite nazionali, che viene portato al 2% (oltre già esistente al 5% rimborsabile).
Inoltre, d’ora in poi, la RCA dovrà riconoscere un bonus di $ 100.000/anno per 3 anni, al di fuori delle royalties. A partire dal 1965, il bonus sarà ridotto a $ 75.000 all’anno.
LA durata del contratto viene estesa fino al 31.12.1969, con un’opzione di prolungamento per altri 2 anni

La MGM vuole aggiungere un’altra canzone al film “Viva Las Vegas” e così Elvis registra la canzone di Ray Charles “What I’d Say” alla Radio Recorders di Hollywood.

Le riprese di “Double Troble” sono terminate.
La RCA decide di non aspettare fino alla fine del 1969 per mettere in atto le opzioni del contratto di Elvis e, pertanto, con oggi viene esteso fino a Dicembre 1974.
