Anch'io ho il DVD di "Elvis Lives" ed è una meraviglia...
Quanto all'organizzazione ed ai costi del concerto europeo virtuale, la nostra Lisa , super efficiente e superinformata come sempre ,e Frank Rap hanno spiegato tutto alla perfezione.
E stendiamo un velo pietoso su soldi buttati via da vari Comuni, enti, etc. etc., per manifestazioni imperniate su personaggi che non valgono nulla sul piano artistico, ma ... sono amici...
Per tirarmi su il morale sapete che faccio?
Mi sento qualche canzone di Elvis e poi, via a fare le mille cose - spesso inutili- e di corsa che debbo fare.

Scusami ma mi permetto di risponderti in merito ai bilgietti per il concerto di londra.

Dato che ho avuto modo di assistere a piu' concerti virtuali volevo solo dirti di aspettare a comprare i biglietti perche' le rivendite cercano di vendere prima i biglietti meno cari .quindi credo che i biglietti con i prezzi piu' elevati non sono stati messi ancora in vendita.
Quindi ti consiglierei di aspettare.
Per quanto riguarda i luoghi dei concerti devo dire che sono per lo piu' luoghi chiusi che arrivano al massimo a 15.000 persone quindi non nello stadio di wembley come qualcuno indicava dove si sono esibiti i queen anni fa ma nel palazzetto dello sport vicino detto appunto wembley arena

"Elvis Presley in Concert" Returns for European Tour

“Elvis Presley in Concert,” the production that reunites Elvis’ former bandmates live on stage with a video-projected Elvis, will tour Europe in February and March of 2010, it was announced today. After multiple, sold-out concert tours and a hiatus of nearly two years, worldwide public demand is at an all-time high for this Elvis concert experience.

This latest tour will include engagements in England, Ireland, Scotland, Holland and other European countries to be announced soon. Ticket sales for the engagements in England will begin April 21 at 3 p.m. GMT for Elvis Insiders, members of the official online fan community at Elvis.com/Insiders, and on April 24 at 3 p.m. GMT for the general public.

“Elvis Presley in Concert” is a production of SEG Events, in association with Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. (EPE). It is produced by Stig Edgren of SEG Events. Performers currently scheduled to participate include: Joe Guercio, Elvis’ orchestra conductor for many of his Vegas performances; members of the original TCB Band; Elvis’ backup singers The Imperials and The Sweet Inspirations.

The show's concept is to present an authentic Elvis Presley concert. The producers have edited together a collection of Elvis' finest concert performances that exist on film and video and removed all sound from the footage except for Elvis' vocal track. The Elvis footage is projected on state-of-the-art video screens. On stage, singers and a 16-piece orchestra perform live in sync with Elvis on video. All music heard in the concert production is performed live. Elvis concert footage for the show comes primarily from the MGM concert films Elvis, That's The Way It Is (1970) and Elvis on Tour (1972); outtakes from these two films as seen in the video package entitled Elvis, The Lost Performances; and the historic 1973 global television special Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii, via Satellite. This footage contains some of Elvis' finest performances from the concert era of his career.
