Apro questo topic pe postare video di canzoni che Elvis avrebbe voluto incidere, ma per varie ragioni e non l'ha mai fatto.

Secondo me se le avesse incise, avremmo delle performances spettacolari. Che ne dite?Siete d'accordo con me?

Voluto e potuto, ma dell'epoca, perchè mi sembra ci sia già un topic con le canzoni postume!

Sappiamo che di tante canzoni ci sono le tracce strumentali, dove Elvis non ha mai sovrainciso la sua voce (un esempio è The Old Rugged Cross) e altre che avrebbe voluto incidere, ma prevalentemente per colpa di Parker e della sua fame di soldi, non ha potuto farle e sono rimaste nel cassetto (vedi Coat of Many Colours e I Will Always Love You).

Credo sia bello ascoltarle e immaginare come le avrebbe personalizzate.

Se però vogliamo unire anche le postume, ben venga ..... basta poter sognare

...I Beatles nella quinta parte del documentario "The Beatles Anthology", raccontano che quando sono andati a trovare Elvis nella sua casa di Los Angeles, ascoltava molto "Mohair Sam", e sia lui che i Fab 4 lo trovavano un gran bel pezzo. Beh avrebbe potuto inciderlo...!

Questa canzone è del 1977, ma forse Elvis non ce l'ha fatta nemmeno a sentirla. Ci sono parole che si adattano a lui perfettamente e posso pensare che l'avrebbe fatta sua !!!

Però tutto sommato anche dopo i primi anni settanta qualche artista niente male c'è stato no?? Mai sentito parlare di gente tipo: Clash, Pink floyd, Nirvana....etc

Io amo Elvis, per me la sua musica è speciale, ma ascolto anche altri con molto piacere....

Premetto che non sono un'intenditrice, però mi è sempre piaciuto il country "vecchio stile", quello tradizionale insomma!!.

Hei Clint veramente un bel pezzo questo "Mohair Sam", sonorità tipiche del periodo, e si avrebbe dovuto inciderlo, ovviamente alla ELVIS.

Peccato, non mi funziona il suono del PC questa sera, non capisco perché, che rabbia, volevo sentirlo adesso, ma cosa può essere? Come mai cosi al improvviso non si sente più niente? Una volta m'era successo, ho guardato nel pannello di controllo e diceva disattivato, l'ho attivato e tutto li, adesso dice che è attivato e in vece non funziona!
