I Glasvegas, gruppo scozzese formatosi nel 2006, pubblicheranno l'album d'esordio attorno all'inizio del prossimo settembre. La band ha tra i propri più ferventi ammiratori Alan McGee, il discografico "scopritore degli Oasis", il quale non perde occasione per parlar bene della formazione, e
Lisa Marie Presley. La figlia del King, nel corso del suo ultimo viaggio in Gran Bretagna, ha insistito per conoscere personalmente i membri della band.I Glasvegas, che finora hanno pubblicato solamente tre singoli, spediranno nelle rivendite il quarto, "Geraldine", il prossimo 26 giugno. Il gruppo sta terminando le registrazioni dell'album a New York in compagnia del produttore Rich Costey, in precedenza alla corte degli Interpol e dei Muse.
