Arriva il primo album dei Glasvegas, i preferiti della figlia di Elvis

I Glasvegas, gruppo scozzese formatosi nel 2006, pubblicheranno l'album d'esordio attorno all'inizio del prossimo settembre. La band ha tra i propri più ferventi ammiratori Alan McGee, il discografico "scopritore degli Oasis", il quale non perde occasione per parlar bene della formazione, e Lisa Marie Presley. La figlia del King, nel corso del suo ultimo viaggio in Gran Bretagna, ha insistito per conoscere personalmente i membri della band.I Glasvegas, che finora hanno pubblicato solamente tre singoli, spediranno nelle rivendite il quarto, "Geraldine", il prossimo 26 giugno. Il gruppo sta terminando le registrazioni dell'album a New York in compagnia del produttore Rich Costey, in precedenza alla corte degli Interpol e dei Muse. Tra i brani che figureranno sul disco sono da annoverare "Lonesome swan", "Daddy's gone" e "It's my own cheating heart"; quest'ultima si ascolta su
