CITTA' DEL VATICANO . Il rock e' figlio di Satana. Lo sostiene in un' intervista il demonologo Corrado Balducci, cui ha dato man forte il cardinale Paul Poupard, presidente del Pontificio Consiglio della Cultura, alla messa concerto celebrata a Roma per la festa di Santa Cecilia, protettrice degli artisti. "I Beatles cantavano "Eccitami uomo morto" in "Revolution n.9" e il riferimento e' a Gesu' ", spiega Balducci che per accusare i "ragazzi di Liverpool", finora mai sfiorati dal sospetto di aver ceduto a Satana, porta un' altra "prova": la fotografia di Aleister Crowley, padre del satanismo moderno, sulla copertina dell' album "Sergeant Pepper' s". E spiega: "E certa l' appartenenza di alcune rockstar a sette sataniche: Alice Cooper, Mick Jagger dei Rolling Stones e Ozzy Osbourne dei Black Sabbath hanno scritto anche canzoni sataniche". E altri complessi, tra cui Eagles, Led Zeppelin e Queen, hanno lanciato messaggi subliminali, quelli che secondo il demonologo colpiscono i ragazzi in discoteca, luogo di divertimento troppo superficiale. Quanto ai Rolling Stones, rileva monsignor Balducci, "professano simpatia per il Diavolo ("Sympathy for the Devil") e invitano a ballare con lui ("Dancing with Mister D."). E gli Eagles in "Hotel California" ricordano quando e dove fu fondata nel ' 69 da Anton la Vey la chiesa di Satana". Messaggi satanici "in chiaro" sono stati lanciati dagli AC.DC, dagli Iron Maiden e dai Kiss, il cui nome "si scompone in "King in Satan' s service". Ma cosa c' e' dietro tutto questo? "Credo che le sette e il rock satanico . risponde il prelato, gia' diplomatico della Santa Sede . rientrino in un piano di enormi proporzioni diretto da persone esistenti ma sconosciute per destabilizzare il mondo progredito". In Italia invece "non esiste nulla di simile", ha constatato Giampaolo Mattei (redattore dell' "Osservatore Romano") nella sua inchiesta sui cantanti e la fede, "Note su Dio", (edita dalla Ldc, presentazione di Madre Teresa di Calcutta) che si chiude appunto con l' intervista a monsignor Balducci e raccoglie testimonianze di Vasco Rossi, Dalla, Teresa De Sio, Baccini, Baldi, Battiato, Branduardi, Cocciante, Dylan, Finardi, Guccini, Minghi, la Nava, Laura Pausini, Raf, Ron, Ruggeri, Springsteen, Paola Turci, gli U2, Vecchioni, Venditti e Zero.

In questo articolo, si fa riferimento, tra gli altri, agli Eagles e alla famosissima canzone "Hotel California".
Ora può anche essere che io, personalmente, non riesca a vederci quello che ci vedono queste persone.

Vi copio qui il testo e chiedo: invece di vederci il demonio, non potrebbe solamente essere un testo di fantasia, una specie di favola, come quelle che ci raccontavano da piccoli, dove, bene o male, c'era sempre l'orco cattivo???

Vorrei inoltre postarvi il testo e il video (in modo che possiate ascoltarla per chi non la conosce) di quest'altra dolcissima canzone degli Eagles.
Ditemi se secondo voi questo è un gruppo che può inneggiare a satana....

Tra l'altro questa canzone nel testo è talmente dolce, che potrebbe essere dedicata ad Elvis!!!
