Questo show è solo su invito per gente dello show business, come Zsa Zsa Gabor e Fats Domino. Per la prima volta Elvis indossa il jumpsuit (costume che diventerà una sua attrazione). Il Jumpsuit gli da maggiore libertà di movimento, soprattutto per le mosse di karate che diventeranno sempre più frequenti. Bill Bellew ha creato 2 di questi jumpsuit, uno bianco e uno nero che vengo prodotti dalla Ice Capades Costumes in Los Angeles. In questo concerto Elvis canta anche “True Love Travels On A Gravel Road”, una canzone che verrà fatta molto raramente in live. Durante lo spettacolo, Elvis presenta Priscilla.

Elvis apre questo tour con il Dinner show, con recensioni che lo descrivono più magro e meno chiacchierone. Il mantello è diventato un optional fisso dello show ed Elvis canta molte più ballate, tra cui brani di Marty Robbbins quali “You Gave Me A Mountain” “It’ Over” e “It’s Impossible”. Sono tutte canzoni che parlano di un amore perduto e tutte sono contante con un tale sentimento che sembra abbiano un’associazione autobiografiche. Priscilla è a Las Vegas dalla sera dell’apertura, ma non so vede fino alla serata di chiusura. Elvis presenta anche “American Trilogy” una canzone di Mickey Newbury, unita drammaticamente alle patriottiche “Dixie” , “The Battle Hyms Of Republic” e lo spiritual negro “All My Trials” . In questo stesso giorno, viene emessa la sentenza definitiva che Elvis non è il padre del bambino di Patricia Parker e la causa viene chiusa.

Per disposizione del Dr. Nick, il tour di 4 settimane deve essere ridotto a 2. Essendo sabato, Elvis fa i due concerti previsti per questa sera, mentre l’usuale show di apertura riservato agli invitati, viene rinviato al giorno dopo (normalmente lo show su invito avviene di venerdì, ma questa volta è stato spostato al sabato per non entrare in conflitto con il rientro di Frank Sinatra al Ceasar Palace).
Duke Bardwell sostituisce Emory Gordy al basso e per la prima volta, con Elvis ci sono anche i Voice.

Elvis chiama il gioielliere, Lowell Heys per ordinargli un anello per Ginger, con l’intenzione di regalarglielo stasera stessa. Gli viene risposto che non c’è tempo a sufficienza per trovare un’altra pietra grande quanto il diamante del TCB. Hey convince Elvis a permettergli di togliere il diamante del suo anello, per metterlo in quello di Ginger. In tarda serata, nella stanza da bagno, Elvis offre l’anello di fidanzamento a Ginger, in ginocchio
